Coalition forces’ commander survives an assassination attempt in al-Buqa

NAJRAN, July 19 (YPA) – A commander of the Saudi-led aggression coalition forces survived on Saturday an assassination attempt in al-Buqa area of Najran province, sources said.

The sources affirmed that Hani Abu Bakr Basalamah, the commander of the so-called Al-Buqa axis of the coalition forces, was subjected to an assassination attempt after an explosive device planted to explode in his car in “Al-Salamy area” in Al-Buqa desert on the Yemeni-Saudi border.

According to the sources, five bodyguard’s were injured in the same explosion.

The move came within a few hours of the second assassination attempt against Brigadier Abdullah Al-Faghghani Al-Muradi, the head of operations of the so-called 26 Brigade, in Marib city.
