STC militias attack Islah military sites in Abyan

ABYAN, July 18 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias carried out on Saturday an attack against the Islah militants’ military sites in Yemen’s southern province of Abyan, sources said.

The sources affirmed that military escalation by the STC came in response to response to the breach of the military truce run by Riyadh.

The sources confirmed that the STC militias and Islah militants exchanged artillery shelling during the past hours in Shakra Front and Zinjibar city in the same province.
