Two wounded in stabbing incident in central London

SANAA, July 18 (YPA) – At least two people were injured in stabbing incident  on Friday evening in London’s financial district, police said.

“The police are dealing with a single incident in Broadgate Circle in which two people were stabbed,” London Police said in a statement.

The incident took place in London’s Broadgate Circle shopping and entertainment district, indicating that the background was criminal and had nothing to do with “terrorism”.

Police said ambulances arrived at the scene and urged people to stay away from the area.

London police did not give further details regarding the perpetrator of the stabbing.
