STC’s militias destroy Islah’s military vehicles in Abyan

ABYAN, July 14 (YPA) – Violent clashes broke out Tuesday between the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia and Islah Party’s militants in the east of Zenjbar city, the capital of Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Local sources in the city confirmed that the clashes came after the STC militia bombed the Islah militants’ positions with several shells in “Sheikh Salem front” east of the city.

A number of the military vehicles of the Islah militants were destroyed during the clashes, the sources added.

During the past hours, the STC’s militias launched a violent attack on the Islah sites with heavy and medium weapons.
