Yemen’s cabinet discusses gradual normalization of aspects of life related to confronting Covid-19

SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – The Council of Ministers, headed by Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour, discussed in its regular meeting on Monday , the program for the gradual normalization of aspects of life related to confronting Covid-19.

In the meeting, the council discussed the program presented by the Higher Ministerial Committee for Epidemic Control, Hussein Makbouli, on a set of procedures and steps proposed by the committee for re-normalization in official and private economic sectors.

The council heard the report of the Health Minister Taha al-Mutawakil, on the health indicators related to combating the Corona virus in the capital and other governorates, and the efforts made by governmental and private health institutions and facilities in confronting it.

The cabinet approved in light of its discussion of the program, easing the precautionary restrictions imposed on wedding halls, restaurants, cafeterias, steam and traditional baths, public parks and sports stadiums, stressing on the impotence of continuing the sterilization and taking necessary precautionary measures.

The council praised the offensive operation carried out by the drones and missile force against the Saudi vital and military targets on Monday, which caused heavy casualties, including military leaders.
