SANAA, July 8 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center expected on Wednesday rain in a number of Yemeni provinces over the next 24 hours.
The rainy weather sometimes includes parts of mountain heights and inner plateaus, which may extend to parts of the desert areas.
Cumulus clouds of varying intensity precipitation, accompanied by thunderstorms and active winds, form large parts of the western and southern mountains.
The rain will extend east to parts of the interior plateaux, and west to parts of the western coast and easy to Tihama.
The center expected that the persistent monsoons continue in the eastern regional waters and around Socotra, as well as the Gulf of Aden and the eastern coasts.
The center has warned citizens and drivers of driving in areas where it is expected to rain and to stay away from floods.
The center also called on vehicle drivers to take care and be cautious about the decline in the horizontal visibility due to the formation of fog and low clouds and of rock and mud slides on the roads in the highlands.
