US records 47,000 coronavirus infections in 24 hours

SANAA, July 1 (YPA) – On Tuesday, the United States has witnessed the worst number of daily coronavirus ( COVID-19 ) infections since the onset of the pandemic.

A Reuters tally showed that the number of cases of Covid-19 in the United States rose by more than 47,000 in 24 hours, the largest daily increase in the number of infections in the country since the beginning of the pandemic.

In the six months since the World Health Organization (WHO) first reported the emergence of mysterious pneumonia outbreaks in the Chinese city of Wuhan, the emerging CORONA virus has infected more than ten million people worldwide and left more than half a million dead.

In the United States alone, there are more than 2,630,000 cases and more than 127,000 deaths.
