Zionist forces demolish Palestinian house in al-Quds

SANAA, June 23 (YPA) – The municipality of the Zionist enemy on Tuesday demolished a house belonging to al-Rajabi family in the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext of building without a permit, according to Media sources.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan said, “The occupation municipality’s crews, accompanied by large forces of special units, surrounded the house of Mohammed al-Rajabi completely in Al-Bustan neighborhood in the town and started a manual demolition of the building.”

Al-Rajabi family stated that “the occupation municipality’s crews started the process of demolishing their house with manual demolition mechanisms, as there is no possibility for their mechanisms to reach the site of the house, and in the meantime they are cutting the roofs of the house, which is a new demolition method.”

It is noteworthy that the occupation court gave the family a deadline that expired last week to implement the decision to demolish it with their hands, but the family refused this so that the self-demolition would not be a precedent used in Al-Bustan neighborhood and its homes threatened with demolition in favor of settlement projects.
