Islah militants kidnap journalist in Shabwa

SHABWA, June 14 (YPA) – Militants affiliated with Islah Party on Sunday kidnapped journalist Saleh Hatlan in Shabwa province, eastern Yemen.

According to local sources, the journalist Hatlan was kidnapped by Islah militants in Baihan district.

The sources added that Hatlan’s kidnapping came against the backdrop of his criticizing Islah’s violations and corruption in the province.
Activists on social media condemned the continuous kidnappings of those opposing the policy of exclusion and marginalization adopted by Islah in the province.
