Cargo plane carrying protective supplies against Coronavirus arrives in Sanaa Airport

SANAA, June 12 (YPA) – A cargo plane belonging to UNICEF arrived in Sanaa International Airport on Friday, carrying approximately 17 tons of supplies preventive to combat COVID-19 epidemic, which spread worldwide.

The cargo plane obtained all air navigation services and facilities in place in international airports, according to the requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO.

A specialized medical team from Sanaa International Airport carried out the work of spraying and sterilizing the shipment in the framework of strengthening the precautionary measures to combat the Corona virus and in implementation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee for Epidemic Control in air ports.
