Yemen army foils infiltration of Saudi-backed militias in Asir

ASIR, May 9 (YPA) –The Yemeni army repulsed an infiltration attempt of Saudi-backed militias in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

Dozens of Saudi militias were killed and others were injured during their advancing attempt towards Taba al-Suwd off Alib crossing point, the official confirmed.

Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition warplanes waged over 20 air strikes to back its militias in their attempt to advance but without making any progress on the ground, the official added.
