Army forces control military sites in Marib

MARIB, May 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees on Saturday managed to seize several sites in al-Jadaan area of Marib province, military sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The sources confirmed the army and popular committees had made great progress in the al-Jadaan area, where they controlled al-Tebab al-Homr area in Madghal district early in the day after confrontations occurred in the area and resulted in the killing and wounding dozens of Saudi-led coalition troops.

The coalition fighter jets launched several indiscriminate raids in the clashes areas without achieving any goal and continued flying in the sky of Marib, the sources added.
