Saudi troops carry out campaign of genocide of turtles in Socotra

SOCOTRA, May 30 (YPA) – The Saudi occupation forces carried out on Friday a campaign of turtles’ genocide in Socotra island, southern media revealed.

The troops offered money to kill the sea turtles and buy them from the citizens, Socotra post news site said.

The staff of the environmental protection offices have been unable to perform their duties for three years due to the Saudi forces’ practices and that the awareness, extension and environmental protection work is completely suspended.
