STC’s militia seize one of Islah’s camps in Abyan

SANAA, May 21 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia on Wednesday controlled one of the most important camps belonging to “Islah Party” in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

Local sources in the province confirmed that the STC’s militias took control “Dhiaman camp” of Islah in Dhaiqa area, west of al-Mahfad district, after attacking it from several directions with various types of weapons.

The sources added that the STC militias seized the camp of the so-called “Third Presidential Protection Brigade” of Islah, which is led by Louay al-Zamki, along with all its military equipment.

The STC attacks on the camp left many dead and wounded among the Islah militants, according to the sources.
