Senior official dies from Coronavirus in Aden

ADEN, May 19 (YPA) – Medical sources revealed on Tuesday the death of a senior official in the port of Aden, southern Yemen, after he was infected with the Corona virus.

Local sources in the city of Aden confirmed that director general of accounts at the port of Aden Khaled Dengbeis has died due to shortness of breath and severe lung infections.

The sources pointed out that the Corona epidemic has claimed lives of many citizens and officials, amid the collapse of health services and the closure of a number of hospitals in the city.

The Corona epidemic is spreading in the city of Aden, controlled by Saudi-led coalition militias, amid deteriorating health services, since the coalition took control of the city in August 2015.
