Several Tarik Afash’s forces captured in Abyan

ABYAN, May 19 (YPA) – A number of the UAE-funded Tarik Afash forces’ elements were captured on Monday by the Saudi-backed Islah militants in Abyan province, south of Yemen, sources said.

The sources affirmed that the several of Tarik Saleh’s forces were arrested while they were fighting alongside the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)forces in the province.

“Tarik Afash forces moved to enter in the battle line through orders issued by the UAE forces to save the STC militias from falling,” the sources added.
