Ministry of Industry condemns coalition attack on Afar Customs Center in Bayda
SANAA, May 2 (YPA) – The Ministry of Industry and Trade strongly condemned bombing of the Saudi aggression aircraft on the Afar Customs port in Bayda province and the targeting of locomotives loaded with foodstuffs.
In a statement, the Ministry expressed its condemnation of targeting the Afar Customs Center, where hundreds of trucks loaded with food are located within the tracks of the aggression, and its policy of continuing to besiege the Yemeni people, targeting its livelihood and destroying the national economy.
The statement considered this targeting a flagrant violation of norms, covenants and international humanitarian law and inconsistent with Islamic and human morals and values, as it is a civil facility serving the community.
The statement pointed out that the silence of the international community encourages the coalition to continue aggression, siege and committing more crimes.
The ministry called on the United Nations and all international humanitarian organizations to carry out their moral responsibilities and break their silence towards the aggression and siege that the Yemeni people are subjected to for five years and put pressure on the coalition countries to stop the aggression and lift the siege on Yemen.
