2 children killed by mine explosion in Syria
SANAA, April 14 (YPA) – Two children were killed and their brother was injured in the Syrian city of Palmyra on Tuesday as a result of a landmine planted by ISIS Takfirio, before they were displaced from the area, while they were playing in the vicinity of their house.
The Director General of the General Authority of Palmyra National Hospital, Dr. Walid Odeh, told a SANA correspondent that two brothers, 6 and 7 years old, were killed as a result of their severe injury with shrapnel caused by a mine explosion from the Takfiri residue of ISIS.
Odeh pointed out that the another child, 3 years old, was also wounded, as he was given the first aid necessary in the Palmyra Hospital and then transferred to Al-Basel Hospital in Homs to complete the treatment.
SANA also reported that a civilian was wounded by a landmine explosion in an agricultural field in the vicinity of Al-Hwiz town in the northern Hama countryside.
