President al-Mashat inspects neighborhoods in capital Sanaa

SANAA, April 14 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday inspected a number of residential neighborhoods in the capital, Sanaa.

During his inspection visit, President al-Mashtat got acquainted with the volume of the damage caused by the torrents after heavy rains witnessed by the capital Sanaa and a number of provinces.

The President instructed the concerned authorities to quickly provide the necessary equipment to continue removing waste from waterstreams to avoid any future damage, and to provide needs of the citizens affected by the torrents in the capital.

He also directed the relevant authorities to make the necessary protections and widen the narrow waterways to reduce the occurrence of any damages caused by the torrents.
