2 Turkish drones downed in Libya
SANAA, April 11 (YPA) – The Libyan National Army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Hafter, announced on Saturday that their forces shot down two aircraft belonging to the Turkish military.
“The air defense platforms detected a Turkish plane, which was trying to raid the city of Tarhuna and brought it down,” the Haftar Forces Military Information Division said in a statement.
“The air defense platforms in the axes of the capital, Tripoli, also managed to shoot down a Turkish drone that attempted to bomb the sites of the National Army in the Warsfana area in Azizia,” the statement added.
The Libyan army announced on Friday the shooting down of two planes of the Turkish regime west of the capital, Tripoli, and its southeast.
