President al-Mashat checks on health of Amin Jumaan

SANAA, April 2 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Wednesday evening made a phone call to the Secretary General of the Local Council in the Capital Sanaa Amin Mohammad Jumaan.

During the phone call, President al-Mashat checked on the health of Jumaan, who was exposed to an assassination attempt by criminal hands of the US-Saudi aggression forces in the capital Sanaa earlier in the day.

Al-Mashat considered this heinous crime another attempt to target national figures who refused to submit to the aggression coalition and took an honorable national stance in the face of the aggression.

He affirmed that the security services would fulfill their duty to track down the perpetrators and all those who seek to harm the security and stability of the country and its sons and bring them to justice to receive their deterrent punishment.

“The hand that is trying to destabilize security and stability will be cut off,” President al-Mashat said during the call.

President al-Mashat ordered the treatment of Jumaan at the state expense, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Jamaan was injured in parts of his body when he was shot by unknown armed men riding a motorcycle while he was returning to his house in al-Wahda district, according to a local source in the capital.
