Yemeni army opens 6th year with major military operation in Saudi depth

SANAA, March 29 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday night inaugurated the sixth year of steadfastness in the face of Saudi-led aggression coalition with a major military operation against vital targets in the depth of Saudi territories.

“At the beginning of the sixth year, we carried out the largest military operation targeting the depth of Saudi enemy, in fulfillment of the promise of the Revolution Leader and in response to the escalation of the aggression coalition,” the army’s spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sarie said in a statement this afternoon.

Sensitive targets were targeted in Riyadh through a joint military operation of “Thulfiqar” missiles and a number of drones of “Samad 3” type, Sarie explained.

The operation also targeted Saudi economic and military targets in Jizan, Najran and Asir regions with a large number of “Badr” missiles and drones of “Qasef 2K” type, he added.

The army spokesman vowed the Saudi regime with more painful operations if it continued its aggression and siege on Yemen.

He indicated that the details of the wide military operation would be revealed in the coming days.
