SANAA, March 20 (YPA) – Member of the supreme of the political council Mohammed Ali al-Houthi commented on remarks made by World Health Organization (WHO), in which it expects scare over prospects of new coronavirus outbreak in two countries in the Arab world.
It expects a sharp rise in the number of casualties in Yemen and Syria, the statement said.
Global health has never expected an explosion in the number of coronavirus cases in Syria and Yemen, until the aggression and its allies allowed Yemenis in Saudi Arabia and Egypt to return home through daily flights and land ports,” Mohammed Ali al-Houthi wrote on Twitter account.
He added: “The US-backed Saudi-led coalition and its allies hold responsible for any outbreak of the virus in Yemen.
” WHO is responsible and committed to the world for the besieged Yemeni people, which is taking donor pledges in the field of health and has not done anything in the face of the challenges,” he said.
It did not warn the countries of aggression even from returning citizens trapped abroad because of the embargo and blockade, he concluded.
