2 rockets hit residential area in Baghdad

SANAA, March 18 (YPA) – Two rockets landed in Jadiriyah residential area on Tuesday evening adjacent to the Green Zone, in the center of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
“Alsumaria News” site quoted an Iraqi security source as saying: “Two Katyusha rockets landed in Jadiriyah area in central Baghdad,” noting that “one of them landed on a residential building near Hajj and Umrah Commission within the area, which resulted in the injury of two people and caused material damage.” .

The source added that “a security force cordoned off the scene, and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.”

The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced earlier Tuesday that two rockets had landed on American forces ’sites in Basmaya Camp in Baghdad.
