UN Envoy meets Political Council’s member, sheikhs of Marib
SANAA, March 12 (YPA) – The Supreme Political Council’s member Mubarak al-Mashan on Thursday met with the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths.
The meeting, which was attended by Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Hussein Hazeb and Marib province’s Governor Ali Mohammed Tuaiman, discussed the situation in Marib province, and the crimes and violations of Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and mercenaries against citizens and travelers.
On another hand, the UN envoy also met with a number of sheikhs from Marib, during which they touched on the situation in the province and the suffering of its citizens for five years.
In the two meetings, al-Mashan and Marib sheikhs reviewed the grievance of the people of the province in particular and Yemen in general, and their suffering as a result of the control of Islah Party mercenaries loyal to the aggression coalition over the province and looting the wealth and cuting off roads.
