MARIB, March 10 (YPA) – The Yemeni army backed by popular committees fought fierce battles on Tuesday against Saudi-led coalition forces in Marib province, during which they made important progress in several areas of Serwah front, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The army and popular committees also managed to purge “Tabat al-Bara” tightening their control over “al-Tala’ah al-Hamraa”, according to the sources.
The sources explained that the control over the strategic al-Tala’ah al-Hamraa means that Serwah front was militarily resolved in favor of the Yemeni army forces and the popular committees.
The army and popular committees were also able to cleanse strategic areas in Serwah district overlooking the city of Marib, the sources added.
