SANAA, Feb. 26 (YPA) – The Parliament in its Wednesday session listened to the Financial Affairs Committee’s report on the results of its field visits to the customs controls centers in each of Afar in Byada province and Al-Rahida in Taiz province.
The report reviewed the committee members’ questions, as well as the responses and clarifications of the government side on them.
The Committee’s report included the procedures and mechanisms of collecting customs and tax revenues in the two control centers and the difficulties facing the centers’ work, as well as the aspects related to combating customs smuggling.
The report concluded with a number of recommendations, and thereby the Parliament ended its sessions for this period.
