President stresses importance of coordination between legislative, executive authorities

SANAA, May 1 (YPA) – President Mahdi al-Mashat on Tuesday stressed the importance of boosting coordination and complementarity between the legislative and executive authorities.

During his meeting with Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Abdulsalam Hashwa, the president urged the two authorities to work together to achieve the higher interest of the homeland and strengthen steadfastness and overcome the challenges away from any other interests.

The meeting touched upon the parliament’s plans and its legislative tasks during the current stage, as well as its role in enhancing the national cohesion to face the challenges imposed by the aggression coalition.

It also discussed the latest developments on the national scene in light of the aggressive escalation of the Saudi-led coalition and the crimes it committed against the Yemeni people.
