Coalition forces bomb joint oversight point in Hodeidah
HODEIDAH, Feb. 1 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition’s mercenary forces in Hodeidah city on Saturday bombed a joint monitoring point in the city, in a serious escalation and a breach of the ceasefire and the armistice recently sponsored by the United Nations.
The coalition forces shelled the joint monitoring point at “Citymax” neighborhood with artillery shells, according to a security source in the province.
The United Nations did not comment on the bombing of the joint oversight point until this moment, since it is responsible for supervising the joint monitoring points.
In a related context, the coalition forces fired more than seven mortars at citizens’ farms south of al-Shajan village on the outskirt of the besieged al-Durayhimi district in Hodeidah.
