Yemen’s FM, ICRC discuss ways to develop humanitarian action

SANAA, Jan. 28 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Tuesday with the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)delegation in Yemen, Franz Rauchenstein, to discuss ways to develop the humanitarian action.

In the meeting, the minister referred to the role played by the ICRC to alleviate the repercussions of the humanitarian catastrophe caused by the Saudi-led aggression coalition in Yemen.

Sharaf affirmed the National Salvation Government’s readiness to provide facilities and mutual cooperation with the ICRC staff working in the humanitarian area in Yemen.

Meanwhile, Rauchenstein affirmed the ICRC’s keenness on continuing to support Yemen contributes to alleviating the humanitarian situation that target Yemeni people.
