American embassy in Baghdad is under missile attack
SANAA, Jan. 5 (YPA) – Warning sirens sounded around the US embassy in the presidential palaces complex in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad on Sunday, informed Iraqi sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources said that a Katyusha missile landed near the American embassy in the Green Zone in central Baghdad.
The sources confirmed that the attack did not result in any casualties so far.
The US embassy and the US Air Force base in the Balad area of Salah al-Din Governorate, which is the largest American base in Iraq, was hit on Saturday by six Katyusha rockets.
