Al-Qaeda threatens activists in Taiz with death

TAIZ, April 27 (YPA) – A number of political and partisan activists in Taiz province have received threats of killing from Al-Qaeda organization.

Political and partisan activists and media men announced on Friday their absolute solidarity with the activist Abdulhalim Saber, who they said was threatened with killing by al-Qaeda organization.

The activists published on their Facebook page an image showing a photo of the activist Saber and a comment includes a threat of killing along with al-Qaeda logo.

Al-Qaeda and Daesh groups have become intensively active in the areas under the control of Saudi-backed troops in Taiz, and have seized large areas of the city.
