Saudi military delegation arrives at Al-Alam camp in Shabwa

SHABWA, Dec. 28 (YPA) – A Saudi military delegation arrived on Saturday at Al-Alam camp of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s militias located near Ataq city, the capital of the occupied Shabwa province, southern Yemen.

The arrival of the Saudi military delegation came after the deployment of Hadi’s forces and Islah Party militants in the vicinity of the camp to demand the hand over of the commander of the so-called “Shabwani Elite forces” backed by the UAE Majed Lamroq and his affiliated elements, according to sources.

Hadi’s forces and Islah militants accuse Shabwani elite elements of carrying out attacks against them in Shabwa.

The Saudi delegation is trying to defuse the tension between the two sides before the situation gets out of control, the sources added.
