Eight out of 10 Yemenis live on aid: ICRC

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Eight out of every 10 Yemenis are living on aid as a result of the ongoing war in the country for the fifth year in row, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) said on Sunday.

“There are seven out of 10 people in Yemen who can not access any health care, and six out of 10 Yemenis suffer from not having access to clear water,” ICRC’s Yemen office added in a tweet.

According to the ICRC, two out of 10 Yemenis are in urgent need of shelter.
