Foreign Minister meets outgoing head of OCHA office in Yemen

SANAA, Dec. 22 (YPA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met on Sunday with the ongoing head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen Sebastien Trives.

At the meeting, the minister appreciated efforts exerted by the UN organizations, which contributed to alleviating the worst humanitarian catastrophe in the world caused by the aggression countries.

Sharaf affirmed that Yemen welcomed all efforts made by the international organizations working in Yemen, stressing the readiness of the authorities in Sanaa to provide all support and facilities towards the organizations.

For his part, Trives affirmed the UN exerted more efforts to support the humanitarian situation in Yemen and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
