SANAA, Dec.18 (YPA) – Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor on Wednesday called on the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to pay special attention to Hodeidah province, especially in projects of water, environment, health, electricity and public works.
Dr. bin Habtoor, during his meeting with Director of UNOPS in Yemen Fayyaz Rasul, appreciated the office’s support for projects in various in several provinces, calling on the office to expand its interventions in the development field, which represents an urgent necessity for Yemeni society and its stability after the aggression destroyed its infrastructure.
In the meeting, Rasul confirmed that the office would continue to work with the concerned government team to set priorities and implement them in the targeted areas.
He noted to the continuous efforts to mobilize finances from donors to implement new projects that fall within the concept of reconstruction in specific areas.
