6 killed in hospital shooting in Czech Republic

SANAA, Dec. 10 (YPA) –  Six people were killed on Tuesday by gunfire in a hospital in Ostrava, eastern Czech Republic, according to Reuters agency.

Reuters quoted Czech police as saying in a statement on Twitter page, “A bomber shot dead 4 people and seriously wounded two in a hospital in Ostrava in the east of the Czech Republic.”

Later, the Czech Minister of Health announced that the death toll from the shooting at the Ostrava Hospital had risen to 6.
