Coalition forces carry out 7628 hostile operation on Yemen in October

SANAA, Dec. 9 (YPA) – The external communication team’s report revealed that the Saudi-led coalition forces have carried out over 7628 hostile operation on Yemen in the last month of October, including air strikes, missile and artillery attacks.

The move came during an event was held in Sanaa about a role of the Yemeni activists abroad who oppose the aggression, in presence of a number of officials, parties and civil society organizations.

During the event, Director General of Air Transport of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Mazen al-Soufi confirmed that the United Nations failed in pressure on the coalition states to lift the siege on Sanaa airport.

Al-Soufi indicated that 12 international and human rights organizations considered that the blockade imposed on Sanaa airport in Yemen by the coalition is a war crime.

He pointed out that Norwegian Council affirmed that closure of the airport has hindered the access of the humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people.
