Tropical depression hits Socotra, causing heavy rain

SOCOTRA, Dec. 4 (YPA) – Socotra Island Archipelago was affected on Wednesday morning by a Tropical depression which is centered south of the Arabian Sea, bringing heavy rain to most of the eastern and southern areas.

According to sources, most of the roads in the Island were cut off, most notably the eastern gate road and the western gate of the capital, Hadiboh, due to floods and collision of waves with asphalt.
