UAE plane carrying hundreds of rare trees stopped at Socotra Airport

SOCOTRA, Nov. 26 (YPA) – Hadi’s forces on Tuesday stopped an Emirati plane before taking off from the airport in Socotra province, local sources reported.

According to the sources, Hadi’s authorities at the airport forces subjected the Emirati aircraft to be inspected before takeoff.

The plane was carrying  rare trees on board from Socotra Island to Abu Dhabi, they added.

This comes after the Hadi’s governor issued directives not to enter any foreign national, except under a visa from the Hadi government last October, due to the expansion of the UAE’s violations of the Socotra environment.
