Judiciary, Zakat, Land Authorities discuss coordination aspects

SANAA, Nov. 24 (YPA) – Head of the Supreme Judge Ahmed al-Mutwakil on Sunday met with Head of the General Authority for Zakat Sheikh Shamsan Abu Nashatan and Head of the General Authority for Lands, Survey and Urban Planning, Judge Abdulaziz al-Ansi.

They discussed aspects of coordination and cooperation between the judicial organs and both Zakat and Lands Authorities to ensure the collection of Zakat for real estate sales.

The meeting stressed the importance of establishing mechanisms and practical procedures, controls and guarantees that notaries and legal trustees must adhere to when writing real estate contracts.
