Deputy WHO representative briefs on medical services in Hodeidah

SANAA, Nov. 18 (YPA) – Deputy Representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) for Yemen, Philip Smith briefed on Monday the medical services at Al-Thawra General Hospital in Hodeidah province.

During his visit, the WHO official inspected the level of the health care provided by the hospital staff for malnourished, orthopedic, and abdominal patients.

He affirmed that the WHO would continue to provide the necessary needs to accommodate the hospital with medical services to cover the largest number of undecided and patients from Hodeidah and neighboring provinces.

The WHO official pointed out that the organization focus during the next year to give a plan to doubling its support and provide the most important needs for hospitals in the districts of the province.
