Deputy PM chairs meeting to discuss epidemiological situation in Hodeidah

SANAA, Nov. 18 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs Dr. Hussein Maqbouli on Monday chaired a meeting in Sanaa to discuss the epidemiological situation in Hodeidah province.

The meeting, attended by Health Minister Dr. Taha al-Mutwakil, reviewed what has been achieved in the fight against dengue fever and malaria diseases in al-Jarrahi district and other districts of the province.

At the meeting, Dr. Maqbouli praised the efforts of the Health Ministry’s leadership and medical staff and their rapid response to the directives issued by President of the Supreme Political Council to combat the dengue and malaria epidemics in al-Jarrahi district.

The meeting touched on the aspects related to the indebtedness of hospitals to the Ministry of Electricity and ways to address them.
