Coalition forces escalate violations, airstrikes on Hodeidah

HODEIDAH, Nov. 15 (YPA) – Saudi-led coalition mercenary forces on Friday escalated their violations against civilians in Hodeidah province, in addition to the aircraft raids, in a continual breach of the ceasefire and the recent UN-sponsored truce in the province.

The coalition forces fired three Katyusha rockets at civilian villages in al-Faza area of al-Tuhayta district, in conjunction with intense firing from heavy and medium weapons at al-Jabaliya area of the same district, a security official said.

He added that the coalition forces fired from medium machine-guns at al-Sha’ab village and nearby areas in Hays district.

Meanwhile, The coalition warplanes waged a raid on populated areas in al-Luhaya district.

In the besieged district of al-Durayhimi, the coalition forces launched intensive artillery shelling on citizens’ homes, according to the official.
