SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – The National Meteorological Center on Sunday predicted bad weather and sea disturbance in the high seas east of the Gulf of Aden in the coming days.
In its bulletin, the Center said that the various observational and predictive data and satellite images showed that the strong cyclonic storm “Kyarr” is currently stationed east-central of Arabian Sea at latitude 17.5 degrees north and longitude 66.8 degrees east.
The center indicated that the center of the storm is away from the maximum point of the southeast coast of Mahra province at a distance of 1450 kilometers and from Socotra Island at a distance of 1430 kilometers, and is moving west-northwest of its current location at a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
The National Center for Meteorology warned workers in maritime and air navigation of bad weather and advised not to sail in the areas referred to.
