Russian defense forces send dozens of armored vehicles to Syria

SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) -The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it has reinforced its military police base at Syria with dozens of armored vehicles “Tiger” and “U-Typhoon”.

According to “RIA Novosti” agency, the ministry said, “dozens of armored vehicles were sent to the base of Hmeimim by military transport plane Il-76 to strengthen the Russian military police in the implementation of its tasks on the Syrian-Turkish border.

The Tiger and Typhoon-U armored vehicles were transported to Syria from military airports in Rostov and Krasnodar provinces.
