UNICEF plane carrying vaccines arrives at Sanaa airport

SANAA, Oct. 24 (YPA) – A UNICEF cargo plane carrying vaccines for children arrived at Sanaa International Airport on Thursday.

“The UNICEF-provided shipment includes routine immunization vaccines for children under one year, which are used in all provinces of the country,” said Taha al-Aqari, director of vaccines department at the immunization program.

The shipment includes 363,000 doses of pentavalent vaccine, 577,500 doses of rotavirus vaccine, and 166,050 doses of intramuscular polio vaccine, al-Aqari elaborated.
