Artillery unit pounds gatherings of Saudi troops, mercenaries in Jizan

JIZAN, Oct. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces on Wednesday night shelled gatherings of mercenaries hired by Saudi-led coalition in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of mercenaries were killed and wounded in the artillery attack that targeted their gatherings in Gais, Mashal Mountains and Wadi Jarrah off Al-Khoba district.

On Tuesday, the Yemen army repelled an attack of coalition-backed mercenaries in front of Qais mountain.

Dozens of the mercenaries were killed and injured during repelling their offensive,  the official said.
