Health insurance system for cleaning workers launched in capital Sanaa

SANAA, Oct. 1 (YPA) – The Cleaning and Improvement Fund in the capital Sanaa on Tuesday inaugurated the health insurance system by the electronic medical form for workers and employees of the cleaning sector.

About 20,000 workers of the cleaning sector and their families will benefit from the health insurance. The electronic form includes registering medical procedures carried out for the beneficiary in the departments and centers of the Republican Hospital in the capital, with the provision of specific medicines.

The Fund’s Executive Director Mohammed Sharaf al-Din said that the project implemented by the Fund’s Health Insurance Department in the capital is the first of its kind in Yemen.

The automated health insurance system for workers was developed by modern technology to keep pace with developments in this aspect, he added.
