President al-Mashat’s initiative is precious opportunity for Saudi regime: al-Rahwi

SANAA, Sept. 24 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahwi on Monday said that the initiative launched by President of the Council Mahdi al-Mashat for peace is a precious opportunity for Saudi regime, which it must seize for its interest.

“The initiative came from the force position after the Saudi regime received a severe blow by drone attacks on Abqaiq and Khurais,” al-Rahwi said in a statement to Yemen Press Agency.

With this initiative, Sanaa has proved its keenness on brotherhood and good neighborliness, although it did not assault first, but the Saudi regime was the aggressor, al-Rahwi explained.

“The Saudi regime’s bet on the military settlement is a losing bet,” he said, stressing that the next would be greater if the Saudi regime rejects the initiative.
